TAD© kit – Our solution
TAD® kit is an innovative molecular in vitro diagnostic test (IVD) which measures the expression of a selected set of biomarkers that underplay a major role in the formation and growth of thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms. It uses RT-qPCR technology and the latest good practices and standards in IVDs and the molecular biology.

How It Works
Our team has done extensive research since 2002 in the cardiovascular sector and since 2007 has been targeting the mechanism that is involved in the ascending abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms.
Guided by the molecular mechanism involved in the process we targeted specific biomarkers, whose mRNA expression levels we are measuring through our IVD
The performance, analytical and clinical, according to the latest regulation in IVDs in Europe (IVDR), is under evaluation. Clinical studies with a large number of participants will validate our results with the golden standard.
TAD is a kit that uses RT-qPCR technology and is destined to be be used as an IVD medical device by professional diagnostic molecular laboratories, hospitals, medical centers, etc.

Get Tested
Visit your doctor and discuss with him the possibility to have an aortic aneurysm in relation to your medical history as well.
Afterwards, all you have to do is to visit a diagnostic lab of our network, so that they will draw a blood sample and handle analysis.
After the analysis, a result report will be generated by the lab and you will receive it to discuss it further with your doctor.
